What happens if the affected employee's employment is terminated?
Answer in detail:
The employer may notify the Employer Maintenance Unit (EMU) at [email protected] or via fax at 317-234-4767. The employer may notify the child support agency (see paragraph #10 attached to the withholding notice) of the termination of employment within ten days of its occurence. At the same time, the employer must also supply the terminated employee's last known address and the name and address of his or her new employer, if known. This will end the employer's obligations.
